Santa Barbara Zoo For Father’s Day

Could the Santa Barbara Zoo be a good choice for Father’s Day? There are a lot of reasons!

Let’s start with parking. While many other entertainment venues charge $20 or more, parking is only $6 at the zoo. Dads and Grand-dads will like the fact that children under 2 get in free. Adult full day admissions are only $14. The Santa Barbara Zoo has a “Behind the Scenes Tour” that would be a great way for Dad to celebrate his day. You would be guided through the zoo on a private tour and get to see things that the “regular” people would not be able to see.

If Dad has a favorite animal, he could be an “Honorary Zookeeper”. This qualifies him to go behind the scenes where the employees go, and assist them in the daily duties of taking care of the animals.

Dad’s day could be topped off with dinner at the “Ridley-Tree House Restaurant”. This on-grounds restaurant offers grilled items that Dad won’t have to fix, along with other delicious items. Dad can relax with his family in the courtyard garden. You also have the opportunity for a picnic lunch or dinner.
