Santa Barbara, California is no stranger to great filmmaking and the creative people who come along with everything film.  Since the beginning of the twentieth century it has been responsible for producing great cinematic wins such as Of Mice and Men and Seabiscuit.

The Santa Barbara International Film Festival is held each year and residents in and around Santa Barbara enjoy 2 weeks of spectacular events such as awards ceremonies, outstanding performances and a grand gala.

Join Santa Barbara as we welcome industry headliners Cate Blanchett, Martin Scorsese, Robert Redford, Oprah Winfrey, David O. Russell and Leonardo DiCaprio.

This year’s opening night film is Mission Blue (January 30) and the festival’s closing film will be Before Midnight.

The festival will run from January 30 until February 9, 2014. The Santa Barbara International Film Festival is yet one more reason you need to check out the Santa Barbara area before your next move.
